How much notice do you require?
Cakes are booked on a first-in, first-served based. Therefore, it is best to book as soon as possible as enquiries are received 12-18 months in advance, especially in peak wedding seasons (March - May and Sept - Nov). For last minute enquiries, a minimum of 3 weeks notice is required and this is subject to availability.
Do you require any payment when we place an order?
Yes, a 50% deposit is required when you make the booking. The remaining amount is due 2 weeks prior to the event.
Can you copy this exact design?
To avoid copyright purposes and avoid disappointment, I do not copy designs exactly. Inspiration photos are welcome so that I may draw inspiration and style for a design but I possess different skills, equipment and techniques to other decorators, which ensures that your cake is one of a kind!
Do you offer cake tasting boxes?
Yes! Cake tasting boxes are typically offered 3 times per year, depending on my calendar. The box includes 10 of my current menu flavours with matching buttercream and fillings. Please get in touch with me if you would like to be placed on a pre-order list.
Do you do only use buttercream?
No, I work with all edible mediums such as ganache and fondant upon request.
Do you provide undecorated cakes?
Due to promotional, insurance and food safety reasons, I do not provide undecorated cakes.
Can my florist decorate the cake?
Due to food and insurance reasons, only I am permitted to dress the cake. I am happy to liaise with your florist to have them supply the flowers for the cake prior to the event.
Do you provide foam (fake) cakes?
While foam cakes are available upon request, this does not affect the price as the hours of labour and level of intricacy remain the same.
Do you make other dessert items such as sugar cookies, cake pops and cupcakes?
I only provide custom made cakes and cupcakes.
Do you deliver?
Yes, I deliver anywhere in the Albury Wodonga, NE Victoria and Riverina regions.
Delivery for cakes 2 tiers and above is strongly recommended to ensure a smooth transportation. Cake are delivered 1-2 hours before the event and placed on display. Refrigeration is required in the warmer months.
Can I collect my cake?
Yes, collection is available from Thurgoona, NSW 2640. Address will be provided once the booking is made. All cakes are boxed and covered for secure and stable transportation.
What happens if I change, cancel or postpone my cake order?
Any major changes to your order less than 2 weeks before the delivery/collection date may incur a fee to cover the reworking of the design and/or loss of work already completed on the order.
The deposit is non-refundable if cancelled less than 3 weeks before the delivery/collection date.
Postponing your order is subject to availability.
